Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 June 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Lootworth. By using Lootworth, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. The service
Lootworth is an informational tool that reads public Steam inventory and profile data you choose to track and presents an aggregate value, item count, value history, a persona, an anonymized friends leaderboard, and best-venue price comparisons. Lootworth is not a marketplace: it does not buy, sell, hold, or broker any item, and it never executes a trade on your behalf.
2. Accounts
You can use Lootworth anonymously, or create a permanent account with an email address to keep your data across devices. You are responsible for the security of your account and for the activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You may delete your account at any time from inside the app; deletion is subject to the grace period described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Acceptable use
When using Lootworth, you agree not to:
- use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or third-party terms (including Steam’s);
- attempt to access data that is not yours or that a user has not made public;
- scrape, reverse-engineer, overload, or otherwise interfere with the service or its infrastructure;
- resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the service or its data without our written permission.
4. Lootworth Pro and purchases
Lootworth offers an optional paid tier, Lootworth Pro. Subscriptions and one-time purchases are billed through the applicable app store and managed via our subscription provider. Prices, renewal, and cancellation are governed by the store you purchased through. The free tier covers core inventory tracking.
5. Intellectual property and ownership
Lootworth, including its software, design, brand, and original content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding. The Steam data you track belongs to its respective owners; we present it to you as an informational service.
6. Third parties (Steam / Valve)
Lootworth is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation or Steam. Counter-Strike 2, CS2, and Steam are trademarks of Valve Corporation. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
Your use of Steam and any marketplace remains subject to those parties’ own terms. Lootworth may link to third-party marketplaces for informational comparison only; we do not control them and are not responsible for their content, pricing, or availability.
7. Value-estimate disclaimer
Value figures shown in Lootworth are informational estimates aggregated from public market data. They are not appraisals, offers, or financial advice, and they may differ from the price any marketplace will actually pay.
You are solely responsible for any decision you make based on information shown in Lootworth.
8. Service availability
Lootworth is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Because we depend on third-party data sources (such as Steam), data may be delayed, incomplete, or temporarily unavailable, and features may change. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lootworth shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on value estimates or other information presented by the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights under EU law.
10. Termination
You may stop using Lootworth at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that harms it or other users. On termination, the data-retention rules in our Privacy Policy apply.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France and the European Union, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be subject to the competent courts of France, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Your continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
